What is F1 in Schools?

F1 in Schools is an international STEM competition for school children, in which groups of 3–6 students have to design and manufacture a miniature car out of the official F1 Model Block using CAD/CAM design tools. The cars are powered by CO₂ cartridges and are attached to a track by a nylon wire.

About Us

We are Vitesse: a professional F1 in Schools team from The Indian High School, comprising of 6 brilliant minds spanning 3 sections, each with their own unique skillset, continuously working to enhance the team's work ethic. Our motto, 'Accelerate and Dominate', clearly signifies our passion and commitment towards the essence of our team: speed. Not only do we hope to excel on the circuit, but also build a team identity known by all.

Hermes, our revered mascot derives its name from the Greek God of Speed. An owl's precision mirrors our meticulous approach to the F1 in Schools project.
